Presenter Information - ACCI Annual Conference 2026

If you are presenting an Concurrent Oral Session:

  • These are the traditional oral sessions as in past ACCI conferences. There are multiple presentations during each 90-minute period.
  • There are five rooms with presentations taking place concurrently.
  • If there are three presentations, each presenter will have 25 minutes of presentation time.
     - There will be 10 minutes of discussion time after all 3 presentations are done.
  • If there are two presenters, each presenter will have approximately 35 minutes for each of the two presentations.
  • Each room will have a moderator who will keep you on time.
  • Please inform the ACCI Office if you intend to use video or sound from the computer as part of your presentation as we must plan for additional equipment.
  • Each room will have a Windows laptop computer, screen, projector, cart, and connectors.
    • Please bring your presentation on a thumb drive for loading on the computer as soon as you arrive in the presentation room (do not plan to present from a cloud server as there will be no internet).
    • Breakout rooms will not have microphones.
  • It is required that you use our template for your presentation slides here.

If you are presenting a Featured Research Poster Session:

  • The poster boards are 4 ft x 8 ft this year, and you may use the whole space.
  • As there is only one Poster Session with reception this year, you should hang your poster on Monday, April 13, before 5:00 p.m. Posters should remain on display until Wednesday, April 15, and must be taken down by 1:00 p.m.
    • Please plan to add some times to your board when you will be available at your poster outside of the poster session to talk with attendees.
    • Poster previews as in past years may or may not be the same. The details are being finalized due to the changes in the full conference programming this year.
  • The poster may be a maximum 4 feet high (1.22 m) by 8 feet wide (2.44 m) as this is the dimension of the board on which you will hang your poster.
  • Velcro or pins will be provided to put up your poster up.
  • As there will not be electricity or a table space, please do not bring a computer. Tablets are okay, but the focus and main points should be on your poster. If you want to provide a URL to your webpage or research, print it on a business card that you can hand out.
  • It is a very good idea to bring your business cards with you and to have them easy to reach and share.
  • It is required that you use our poster template here that already contains the right sized logo.
  • It is suggested that you hand-carry your poster with you to the conference.
  • This is a sample of what the poster board will look like:
