Submitting to the Journal of Consumer Affairs - a $125 Submission Fee

The Journal of Consumer Affairs uses ScholarOne, an online journal article submission and review management system.

  • Submit your articles here. There is a submission fee, which is explained below. 
  • If you are an ACCI Member, no fee is charged. This is a member benefit. Professional Membership is $125 and Student Membership is $25 US. (If one of your authors is a student, that student's membership allows the article submission at no charge.) Read about membership here.
    • Submission fee is USD $125* per manuscript (non-refundable) even for desk rejected articles. It must be paid by credit card at the time of submission here.
      • *Note: for those authors who work in a country that is classified as a lower income nation per the World Bank, you may pay a reduced submission fee. Nation's classification: see the list here.
      • When you pay the submission fee, you will have the option to convert this payment to a one year's membership. 
  • Submission fees are non-refundable, even for desk-rejects.
